Hey there!
Welcome to my blog! My name is Lydia and I am a makeup and brush fanatic (also like to dabble in a bit of skincare). If you’re anywhere near as enthusiastic as me about mid to high end and luxury beauty products and Japanese Fude then you have come to the right place. I love glowy skin, pink blushers and lip products, and am a complete sucker for pretty packaging. I look for quality in products, whether its the formula of a powder, foundation that wears beautifully, or very nicely weighted brush handles with the finest quality hairs, crafted carefully by hand. Join me on my quest to purchase ALL of the makeups, and let me share with you the products that truly make me happy (and some that do not).
For quite some time now I have been obsessed with looking at beauty products, reading about them, buying them, comparing them. In fact, I spend so much of my time thinking about them that I decided I should channel some of this energy into a blog, so that all this information is not just lost on me in my room analysing my collection in detail.
A little bit about me: I am in twenties and based in the UK, currently living in London. I have a degree in Engineering Science, and am still figuring out my career path. I want to use this blog as a creative outlet that is distant from my work, where I can meet people who share the same passion as me so that we can all sit and talk about makeup and be happy. I will be focussing on reviews and details that I think will be helpful to anyone interested in making similar purchases and to expand the info and swatches available online so that you can make the best informed decisions. My posts are a mixture of new releases and products that are both old and new to me. I will share product comparisons and swatches, and give you my favourite picks from makeup, brushes and skincare that I love (and perhaps have been loving for years). I am not a makeup artist or an expert, merely an enthusiast who wants to share their thoughts and personal opinions on their collection.
